Ivaldo Basso, Operating Partner, brings over 30 years of experience in the alternative investments industry to his role at New Catalyst. He specializes in operational excellence, compliance infrastructure, and operational due diligence. In his role, Ivaldo will help alternative investment managers develop and enhance their operational and compliance frameworks

In recent years, Ivaldo has worked as an independent consultant, assisting alternative investment firms with launches and helping them transform their operational infrastructure to achieve industrial-strength performance. Previously, Ivaldo served as Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Operations Committee at GCM Grosvenor.

Ivaldo holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Northern Illinois University.
